I’m enjoying your photos of this North American icon. The low key treatment keeps them mysterious and hints at their tenuous existence in modern times….as though they are fading into the mists of time.
Thanks Kathy. Similar to what I did with a lot of my corvid photographs, one of my intentions with the treatment of the bison images is to invoke the folklore and history. So, the idea of their fading away from a purely straight presentation was certainly intended.
