POTD: The Gehry Imperative

I don’t think it’s possible for a photographer, even just a casual shooter, to walk by a Frank Gehry designed building without taking at least one photograph of it. This is my one shot of the EMP Museum in Seattle. I like it because it has sort of a sinister, Darth Vader feel to it.

  1. Amazing photo, Larry! I did not realize there was a Frank Gehry building in Seattle, though I was aware of the Disney concert hall in LA…Definitely see Darth Vader’s “mask” in your photo!

    1. Thanks Kathy. Yep, the EMP Museum is right at the base of the Space Needle. As Gehry’s work goes, the overall look of this building is my least favorite. But the detail shots are still interesting.
