Beautiful shot, almost looks like poinsettias…Started snowing here this morning…Just finished a run of 5 days of 50-65 degree F. days in a row. Been like that since Columbus day, a little moisture with cold, then a week of above average temps. The Old Forester says “average temperatures averaging out”. The Old Statistician probably says something like the trend is your friend, until it ends.
Thanks Steve, guess it might make a good holiday card with that bright red color. As far as statistical explanations, look up the concept “regression to the mean.”
