43 and Counting
Bozeman, Montana
1983
Forty-three years ago today, the Fashion Queen and I tied the knot. That’s not a major number to celebrate or anything but given the year I had last year, this anniversary is one that nearly did not happen, so carpe diem as they say.Ā I can’t think of any words or photos that would adequately express what these years have meant to me, so I won’t even try. I’ll just simply say thanks Connie for taking me along for the ride!
Happy anniversary to you and Connie!
Thanks Dan!
Happy Anniversary! Iām very happy that you are here to celebrate it!
Thank you Carol!
Fantastic! Congratulations to both of you. After 43 years I guess it’s going to stick.
Thanks Carol, and yes, after 43 years we’ve got too much momentum going to change course now!
Congratulations you two! Connie, beautiful as ever. Larry, can’t recall ever seeing you in NEW blue jeans AND cowboy boots at the same time. Western formal.
Thanks Steve. And yes, 1983’s western formal wear–not at it’s best but as good as I was going to do. BTW I think the shirt was new too, completed with snap pearl buttons.
Congratulations! I know you feel blessed to have each other. š
Thanks Judy, and yes, blessed in many ways.
Congratulations to both of you…for better or worse indeed! š
Thank you Kathy!
When I looked at the photo my first thought was, “oh a recent picture of both of you”. Congratulations, both of you look the same as you did 43 years. What’s the secret?
Well, say what you will about the Fashion Queen, but as for me I think the secret is that your eyesight has deteriorated considerably these days. (Much like mine.) I’d love to have that much hair again, that’s for sure.
BULLY! Same here.
