I think I like this close-up view better than yesterday’s. All the people, bikes, etc. in the previous photo drew my eye away from these outstanding reflections in the puddles.
I had different ideas in mind for what I wanted to portray in these two images. Yesterday’s was intended to give an overview of what life on the street looked like in the context of the rain that evening, while today’s was of course all about the reflections and raindrops. Perhaps they would be even stronger displayed together as a diptych.
