  1. Wow! Without your comment, I would never have guessed their size. Do people actually wear these?

    And I was struck by the name of the town…I always thought “Calgary” in AB was a true North American place name…alas not so! :-}

    1. They were just art, and not wearable art. They were part of a collection of interesting installations on a forest walk. Calgary, AB was named after Calgary, Scotland. In addition to the U.S., a large number of Scots also immigrated to Canada in the 18th and 19th centuries. Nova Scotia is Latin for New Scotland. Perhaps Calgary, AB should have been called New Calgary.
