It may seem kind of odd for this image to remind me of the old civil war song Tenting Tonight on the Old Campground, but it does.

  1. At first I thought the whole scene was a painting, like a mural on a wall, including the car. I kept trying to “find” the top….;-) Clever illusion created by your camera position!

    1. Kathy, I think the other thing (besides camera position) that contributes to the blending of the billboard image and the background is how the shades of gray match. It wasn’t a bad match in color and I was able to make it match even closer courtesy of the fine tuning possible in the Lightroom black and white conversion color sliders.

  2. Ok… the leap from that picture to the the song, I guess I can see a small connection there. And coincidentally it reminds of the now late Robin Williams and his ability to take some small connection and drift off in a completely different direction when he would do one of his extemporaneous comedy routines. The master of jumping from one topic to another.

    1. Randy, Robin William’s jumping from one topic to another is essentially free association. My mind seems to do that frequently. The difference is William’s made the result funny, I mostly just get odd looks if I verbalize mine!
