Well, it’s St. Patrick’s Day, so what more needs to be said except that it’s also the Fashion Queen’s Birthday? Below is a bonus photo in recognition of her very own Green Day. I call it
Figuring It Out because she’s obviously concentrating hard on something. Perhaps she’s busy planning her assault on that Mecca of all fashionistas, Paris, where we’re headed on Wednesday. Either that, or she’s working on her other addiction: a crossword puzzle.

Wish Connie a happy birthday for us! I hope she is taking plenty of empty suitcases for the shopping adventure. I like the photo of her. Does standing while doing crosswords improve brain function? I should try it.
Birthday greetings passed along. Don’t know about the standing effect on crossword puzzles. I know taking them to the john with you helps; not sure what helps what, but it helps! 🙂

Did you intentionally take the photo when the light was green? I think that’s something a photographer would think about. My photo would have been taken with a red light, for sure, and I probably wouldn’t even think about the fact that I could have had that green element as part of the St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Carol, unfortunately I can’t take credit for doing the green light thing on purpose. But, like you I recognized it right away when I downloaded it to my computer. In order to make it as much of a green theme as possible, I even cropped out the woman in the red coat who had been on the right side of the photo. Of course, that red coat might have been just the thing to top off or balance the composition. But I’m sticking with the let it be green approach.
