A couple of years ago while doing some “alley shopping” I found the word “AND” in wood letters about 18″ high. I couldn’t see that interesting find getting thrown away in the trash so I brought it home. Right now it’s leaning up against the garage at our mountain house waiting for a permanent home. I was thinking about adding three ellipses after it and hanging it up. In that sense it to me would present somewhat of a philosophical, even existential thought question ripe for contemplation. The sign in this photo can, I think, be interpreted in much the same way.

This sign was above the door to a junk/antique shop in Boulder City. I had to chuckle when I saw it as it very much describes what has happened to me after I decided to pick up photography as a hobby again back in the mid 1990s after that interest had been lying dormant for some 20 years or so.
