I like that the sea is a triangle that doesn’t go all the way across the image. There’s space for me to visually move into the sky without the photo being broken into 3 separate bands.
Kathy, I hadn’t thought about it that way, but now that you mention it, the triangle shape of the ocean is an important component in making this composition work. (Work for me anyway!)
