Gee But It’s Great to Be Back HomeBozeman, Montana2012
First song I thought of when I walked in the house after getting home from the hospital yesterday. And with the happy horn riffs at the end of the song it seemed like the perfect breakfast nook and POTD music.

Home is where I wanna be… Glad you are home and all is well. Love the photo, too. Shredded Wheat?
Welcome home. Surely healing will be happier there 🙂
Your shredded wheat biscuits triggered a memory I have of Granddad eating his with water or maybe juice instead of milk. I thought it must have been terrible. That was probably during the Fruit Loops era of my life.
Thanks Janet. Yes, healing is better at home. So is the view. I don’t remember graddad and water/juice on cereal. I do remember peanut butter on corn on the cob and mustard on plain white bread as a snack. Actually the mustard/bread thing I may have learned from your mom.
I also remember him putting mustard on green beans. Now I am wondering what food combinations I eat that others would find strange. Seems like it might be hereditary.
When I mentioned those strange food combinations recently, someone (my mom, your mom, Barbara?) didn’t recall he did that and went on to speculate they weren’t really habits of his, he just did it as a means of messing with his grandkids.

Welcome home!!!
Shredded Wheat and a good book. Looks like life is getting better!
Yep, shredded wheat and a good (photography) book–the real Breakfast of Champions.
Glad you are back home and enjoying your regular diet! Love all the “squares” in that photo!
Thanks Kathy!
