From that title I thought I was seeing an actual cotton boll close up! Wow! Hope nothing serious came from those clouds….the kind that make us head for the basement in IL!

It’s getting so we have to start worrying about dodging such clouds out here in the West too. At least we do get the occasional tornado that I swear never happened before.
Mammatus clouds are a rare treat here. In fact any clouds are a rare treat this summer. But I see your point about threatening weather.
