Repurposing Missoula, Montana 2012
I don’t recall seeing a grain elevator in Missoula before but stumbled across this one right downtown. (Perhaps stumbling across it was a poor choice of words–can one really just stumble across something as big as a grain elevator?) It does not appear to be used at all for it’s original purpose anymore, but parts of have been converted for other uses.]]>
Larry,
This old grain elevator is now home to several artists’ studios. It’s named for the sign painted on one outside wall: Ceretana Studios. Don’t know what feed/grain Ceretana dealt in but that’s how this one’s been repurposed. I agree it’s photogenic!
Kathy
Kathy, I had seen the various studios, in fact one will be featured in tomorrow’s POTD. Stay tuned.
