End of the Trail Pony, Montana 2012
I stopped to photograph this old travel trailer for my on-going series of images of old buildings, cars, shoes and whatever else seems to fit the theme of symbols of schemes and dreams that have met the end of the line. I didn’t realize how appropriate this particular trailer was until I noticed the silhouette in the back window. You have to look close in this small photo to see it but it’s a very well known knockoff of James Earl Fraser’s sculpture End of the Trail.]]>
We photographed this camper last year also and today drove past it again and a couple have moved in. Squatters possibly? Great photo.
Thanks Yvonne. Interesting that it is currently inhabited. Looked like pretty low budget digs–a real fixer upper.
