I really enjoy all of your Raven and Crow photographs. I assume this one is a Crow. Maybe it is because Margot is a Song bird rehabilitator. Crows and Ravens fall outside of her usual birds, but occasionally she has to cut up mice for these beautiful and smart birds. A rather messy job, to say nothing of cleaning the cage and the smell.
Thanks Allan. You might have noticed this photo was from eleven years ago. I haven’t been photographing corvids much of late. Perhaps the fact I’ve been photographing them seriously for over a decade has something to do with that–I may be running out of new compositions to picture them in.
