Only spent an afternoon riding on a horse cart in K.N.P. and hiking alone the next morning, although pretty solitary and able to get close enough to take pictures of the Irish Red Deer Herd. Enjoyed my time there. Beautiful lakes and views of the mountain from town , but not all the waterfalls were running, (it wasn’t raining).
We did some hiking in the park near town (were staying close to the edge of the park so it was easy to just walk over there) and also up in the mountains. I wish we’d spent more time in the park, it’s a very lovely place.
