As is typical for old gold mining towns, most things in Virginia City, Montana tend towards the utilitarian. But some more fancy items found their way there back in day as well–and hence into today’s antique shops.
Wouldn’t you like to know the history of that old clock?
If that clock could talk, then I could write about its history and call the post “Time Tales.” or better yet, “Taling Time.” (I thought I made up the word taling, but according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, it is the present participle of tale. It’s hard to be truly original these days.)
