As I was clicking on the link to read the comments here, Moon Shadow started to play in my mind. Then I read Kathy’s comment. Oh, to be the person who would write a song powerful and popular enough that it would immediately infiltrate minds at the mere mention of a word in an unrelated context!
Even more interesting is that it was a nearly 50 year old song that spurred that reaction. I wonder if the brought up Moon Shadow if some other word besides “Beach” had been used. It’s hard to imagine that particular word had anything to do with it, but you never know.
This title immediately brought the song “Moon Shadow” by Cat Stevens to mind….”I’m being followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow…” 🙂
I remember that song and the it does not take too much imagination to see this image as a moon rather than sun shadow.
