What a Difference a Day Makes

Two days ago it was hot and smoky, with so much smoke from the regional forest fires we couldn’t see the mountains from our house. Yesterday we still couldn’t see the mountains, but it was because of rain clouds not smoke. Today it is even wetter, 38 degrees this a.m. with a winter storm warning out for the mountains. Take that, forest fires!

  1. Same thing happening here, although the morning low was 52. Evacuated the house once in the last 2 years because of fire and a be prepared to evacuate twice.

On 4 occasions we could see the flames from our house, Scary.

Whenever I see a Cal Fire crew I always say thank you.

    1. We are fortunate here to, as of yet, not had the kind of immediate scares with fires you have Alan. All we’ve had to deal with is the awful smoke. That’s enough for me, thank you very much.
