Here, by accentuating the shadows, I tried to make a string of tourists on camels on a one-hour tour look like a true caravan out for months on the Silk Road (which ran right through this area).
At least at this size, your technique has worked. At first glance (and subsequent ones) I assumed the people on the camels were native buedoins (or whatever the Chinese equivalent is), not tourists.
Good to know the deception worked. I didn’t want to portray Bedouins in tennis shoes!
