Thanks Kathy. I think most black feathers have some of that iridescence in the right light, with the magpies being one of the most obvious. But even with the magpie it’s amazing how jet black they can look in some light, and anything but other times.

This is beautiful…that irridescence is priceless…magpies’ feathers have it too, though it glints green in the sun.
