Finding Equilibrium
Bozeman, Montana
2016
This composite image was developed on kind of a parallel track with the one from yesterday. Although I like the more minimal look of this one, I’m not sure if it’s complete yet or not. It might benefit from some additional elements around the circle and also maybe a colored background of some sort (although the pristine look with the plain white background is appealing in it’s own way). I guess it’s a work in progress.
I think I agree with you about the pristine backround. Not sure what you’re thinking about adding more elements to the circle. Can you eliminate the triangle and keep the ying/yang? I think their feet seem to denote the lines of a triangle anyway. Doing that might change the perception that the crows are rotating around the center though. On this composition I like the clean contrasts.
Thanks for the comments Steve. Along with the other ideas I mentioned, I’ve also thought about losing the triangle. The additional elements, by the way, would be around the outside of the existing ones; not necessarily another circle shape but perhaps something in each of the four corners. Like I said, it’s kind of a work in progress.
