I believe A.L.F. stands for Assisted Living Facility. At least the sign was out in front of the Home From Home Assisted Living building.]]>

The A.L.F. that I remember was “Alien Life Form” , but he didn’t look like a yellow smiley face, he was brown, hairy, and had a big nose. There is another A.L.F. the animal liberation front, but when you look at their images on the internet, they don’t look very happy.
