Weren’t W. C. Fields’ famous deathbed words: “All in all I’d rather be in Philadelphia? I’ve never had a burning desire to be there, maybe somewhere more like an aspen grove. Anyway, this is my first POTD post actually typed after the surgery Tuesday. I’m doing fine with the new heart valve but the pain drugs aren’t exactly conducive to critical thought or good typing.

Thanks Janet. I had heard your mom’s went well too. Maybe we should have a recovery competition, ad long as it doesn’t involve typing as I can’t seem to see or point straight.
