Mystery Clown

I didn’t pay much attention to this painting of a clown when I was taking the photo, but looking at it later I got curious about it. If anyone knows if it’s  a copy of a famous painting or not, let me know. I zoomed in on the painter’s name but couldn’t read it, so don’t have much to go on in terms of searching on the internet.
