As our mountain house is nearby, we’ve seen this little railroad building many times in our comings and goings over the years and it never fails to attract my attention for some reason. Maybe it’s just the name. Anyway, after 38 years I finally took the time to stop and photograph it the other day. I’m not sure it’s particularly photogenic (at least not on that day it wasn’t) but perhaps the act in itself satisfied some need or the other I have to pay homage to the thing.
