POTD: River Crane

River Crane
Louisville, Kentucky

This is actually a schematic map of the riverfront area in downtown Louisville. I however, immediately saw what looked like a Native American pottery style decorative graphic.

    1. In my mind both the light and dark parts compose the crane. The circle in the middle (actually the location of the Abe Lincoln statue from yesterday) and the white area around it are the main part of the crane’s head, while the curved dark arc around it defines the arc of the head on top, the beak on the lower right and some fluffy feathers on the back of the head on the left. You can’t stare at any one part of the image to get the crane, you have to let the dark and light parts work together. But that’s just me!
