  1. I love this kind of light…low, intense, usually warm if recorded in color. I like how it makes rough surfaces like wood seem to shine like metal.

    P.S. Would definitely crop the right edge to remove that little bright rectangle and the dark one in the sky, if it were my photo. 😉

    1. Yeah, the rectangles don’t really add to the composition (although one could argue that the white one provides some balance with the bright white of the side of the house). I usually leave a little more around the edges than need be in case I frame and image using a mat that overlaps the edges of the photos. In that case they would be covered up anyway.
