Thanks Bruce. I was actually torn as to whether or not I should do this image in color or monochrome. I’ve worked with it both ways and they both have merit. The color won out simply because I wanted to include it in this particular series of brighter colors on drab winter days.
Larry, I’m guessing that the b&w version makes the tree shadows on the wall blend in with the foliage in the background, leading to a mystery of layers. It would be fun to see the b&w version if you care to post it.
Very nice Larry. I’ve been thinking in a similar way lately and really like the way you’ve used color and shadows to create this image.
