I don’t think this imaged showed the same degree of difference in “depth” compared to the color version as did the same B&W vs. color comparison of Latent Potential #2. Still I think it is noticeable here as well, so I believe I will continue with the series in color.]]>

  1. Thumbs up! …. but if we had never seen the colors, this would be great :). I notice the high contrast on the leaves in this black and white version makes them look somewhat metallic, which is kind of cool.

    1. Thanks Betty. I was really taken with the “silverness” of this one too. So much so if it were a standalone image, I’d probably stick with the b&w version. But as a part of a series where the b&w version seems to have so much less impact than the color version, I guess I stick with color…for now anyway. (It’s amazing how many time I can switch back and forth between choices like that!)
