Was Superman a Commie?
This sculpture in Budapest, a leftover from the Russian occupation of Hungary during the Cold War, is an example of socialist realism art. Socialist realism was a U.S.S.R. approved artistic style that celebrated an idealized vision of the life and industriousness of workers.
