POTD: Simply Elegant
A simple wall shelf and it’s shadow at Maison La Roche, a house in Paris designed by Le Corbusier (one of the pioneers of modern architecture). While this image was converted to black and white the shelf and wall itself where in fact shades of gray as well; so the whole structure creates what appears to be a simple two-dimensional abstract composition.]]>
Love this image Larry!
Thanks Mary, glad you like it. That house was full of similar kinds of simple abstract features. It was a real visual treat to go through it.
LOVE this one! I’m a sucker for high key b&w images. Could look at this all day!
Thanks Kathy. I like high key images as well, but find it hard to make myself produce one. I guess I’m a bigger sucker for dramatic contrast.
