We’ve had our townhouse in Bozeman for over a year and a half now but two days ago was the first time I looked out my studio window and noticed the owl looking back in at me.]]>

Wonderful observation! Do you remember ever having the feeling someone was staring at you. The only part I don’t like is the snow…. not ready to think about winter. Have you and Connie moved to the city for the winter?
Thanks Betty. I never felt like I was being watched, but now every time I look out the window the first thing I will notice is those eyes looking back at me. Maybe I only now noticed the eyes because I just finished re-reading The Great Gatsby in which the “eyes of Dr. T. J. Eckleburg” figured prominently. (My first introduction to symbolism back in high school–or at least the first time I remember it coming up.)
We have not moved into town for the winter yet. We’re aiming for sometime around Thanksgiving, depending on the weather. It’s snowing lightly again today and supposed to get down to 14 degrees tonight but then back up in the 50s next week.

14 degrees! Yikes! It’s 60 here but we have a hurricane on its way. Lots of wind to be sure.
Better 14 degrees than 70mph winds as far as I see it.
