While I know better than to touch the art work at art museums, I never thought window coverings would be much of a problem. However, after I had lifted the edge of a window shade to take yesterday’s photo, I was gently and kindly informed by a guard that I shouldn’t be doing that. So I took this one through the shade. I like the kind of pencil-drawing effect it gives to the photo.
That’s a very nice effect. The security guard may have done you a favor by slapping your wrist, so to speak.
Thanks Betty. I think the security guard did me another favor too: on the first photo he actually waited until I was done taking it before he told me I shouldn’t mess with the shade (although who knows what that skyline photo would have looked like through the shade).
