Mystery Clown

I didn’t pay much attention to this painting of a clown when I was taking the photo, but looking at it later I got curious about it. If anyone knows if it’s  a copy of a famous painting or not, let me know. I zoomed in on the painter’s name but couldn’t read it, so don’t have much to go on in terms of searching on the internet.

Another strange collection of items. From this angle it looks like this cowboy is out on the range filling a basket with flowers–getting in touch with his feminine side no doubt.

I think it might be an interesting reality TV show (at least interesting relative to the other kinds of reality shows that are out there right now) to collect a bunch of miscellaneous items like these and give them to a group of interior decorators to see who does the best job of integrating the items into a modern household. Of course there would have to be a time limit on the process so we could watch them all become angst ridden at the last moment as to whether the tiger should go on the mantel or on the bathroom counter. Oh, what drama that would create.

Somehow this young lady got left out when I was doing the series on model citizens. But it fits in pretty well here as it looks like she might have got that hat from the guy in yesterday’s post and also has that John Boehner tan that’s been all in the news lately.

I was never a Devo fan, but I always found their outfits, and this album cover mildly entertaining.  They may indeed be men but neither this hat or the flower pot hats they were know for in the day project any kind of manly-man image; not that there is anything wrong with that.

I’m not sure why I thought this was photo-worthy when I took it and I’m not sure why it is noteworthy now either; maybe it’s because I figured it was as close as I’ll get to being featured in a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition.
