What’s Wrong With This Picture? (#2) Bozeman, Montana 2012

I just took this a little while ago (snowing even harder now). It’s May 10th for crying out loud. It seems like just yesterday we were sitting on the new deck enjoying 75 degree weather. Oh, wait, it was just yesterday. I’m not sure who the Fashion Queen is calling on the phone, probably the airlines to book a plane south.]]>

POTD: Shut-Up and Deal

Shut-Up and Deal Missoula, Montana 2012

We waited in front of Treasure Island in increasingly sardine-like conditions for over an hour to see the pirate show. For this young girl it was an exercise in patience, which she handled admirably. For me it was an exercise in self-control. I guess I did admirably as well–at least I didn’t go running and screaming away from all that gathering humanity. Was the wait and the crowd worth it? I knew going into it that it was likely to be worth the price of admission and it almost was.]]>
