POTD: Wired

Like open sun-light doors, aged wire fencing is another subject I don’t seem to tire of photographing. In this case the fencing closed off an opening to an otherwise windowless shed, whose interior provided the dark background.

    1. Thanks Kathy. We have a triptych of black, silhouetted wire fences against a white (cloudy) sky hanging on the wall. This might be a good complement to that. I’ve never been a big fan of the negative vs positive diptych images that I’ve seen over the years. At least when I’ve tried it for myself it never seemed work well.

    1. Thanks Allan. Yes, broken windows are as much a siren call to my camera as are wire fences I think, but Daryl always has a place in my heart!
