This is a new edition to my Synthesizing Icons series of composite images. You know those dreams you have where the scene is filled with various familiar objects, locations, or people but which occur in strange combinations spanning time and place? No? Well I have them from time to time and they can be quite interesting and often confusing. This image doesn’t portray one of those actual dreams, but it has that feel. One minute it seems to have some deep underlying meaning and the next it is just a bunch of visual non sequiturs akin to a Zippy cartoon.
This is so modern. So ancient, so Dali.
