We found the muted, contrasting colors of the brush and grasses in certain marshy areas to be very pleasing.
Those colors are soft & gentle & such a contrast with the actual stiff, “spiky” character of those plants, to say nothing of the Yellowstone environment! 🙂
Actually there are a lot of soft things in the Yellowstone environment. Take all the mud pots for instance. Of course they tend to be kind of hot so there is that drawback. 🙂
