  1. I have enjoyed your last few days photos. For me, mixing in the color is a nice change of pace. And the composition is nice. I also found a skunks skull on my property this spring. I wasn’t sure what it was. There was a hunk of hide that was on a couple of scattered bones but it was sort of buff colored. Maybe it was originally white and the dirt it was laying in discolored it. Anyway, mystery solved.

    1. Thanks Steve. And happy to help solve your mystery. I knew this one was a skunk skull because of the residual black and white hair as well as the fact that I was somewhat unfortunately responsible for it being there in the first place.

    1. Jodi, I have taken other photos of feathers, not that I can easily point out on my blog though. I should take more as I have a big pile of them in my studio thinking I will make some kind of composition out of them “someday.” I’d love to see your feather drawings one day too. Connie ss3ys you’re quite the artist.

      1. I would love to see a Larry Blackwood feather composition! I don’t comment often but I don’t miss many of your posts, love to see what catches your eye!
