It turns out you don’t always need to bundle up and go skiing to get ice form photos; when the temperatures are below zero, all you need to do is open the front door and photograph the glass on the storm door.
Been there, done that! 🙂 Biggest challenge is getting the shot before the ice melts!
When it’s 20 below, it doesn’t melt very fast even with the door open. Plus, our regular from door is full glass and it was clear, so I could have cheated and just taken the shot of the storm door without opening it.
