Can specular highlights be a successful subject for a photo? I think so. This shot was across Jenny Lake as the sun was going down behind the Tetons, with the dark line being the edge of the shadow of the mountains.
Love the feeling of the light in this photo. A difficult thing to record and you’ve done it successfully. Initially, I thought the title referred to the horizon line, so thanks for the tip in your comments.
Thanks Kathy. Actually the title, like the photo, was meant to suggest a horizon line as well–it’s sort of a double entendre.
