POTD: The Process #5

POTD: The Process #5The Process #5 Bozeman, Montana 2013

Another abstract pattern created from a different part of my process of creating and mounting photographs than was yesterday’s photo. The creation of this kind of pattern was described in a blog post earlier this year which can be seen here.]]>

  1. As another person who prints photos, I appreciate these photos “made by” photographs and then rephotographed! The recursive nature is intriguing as is the abstract design. I prefer the warmth of the cardboard in this image to the b&w tones of yesterday’s. Maybe add a mellow brown to the previous shot…ala kraft paper??

    1. Interesting that you like the cardboard images better Kathy. I’m just the opposite. I prefer the gentle shadings and shadows of the paper, as well as the more neutral tint. I must say though, the more contrasty look of the cardboard is more to my usual style.
