I like the arrangement of the books on the pews. They look so tiny from above…almost like stickers! They lead my eye from the bottom to the top of the photo where the person is.
Thanks Kathy. I like the way that at first the image appears to be an ungrounded abstract composition dominated by the pattern of scattered white rectangles. You have to look at it a little closer to discern what the components of the image really are and, yes, then your eye leads you to the person sitting in the pew.
