I was impressed by the people’s concern for the bird, and by the bird seemingly knowing that these people could help him/her out in a way it couldn’t do by itself. I guess there is no mutual preening and grooming among ravens/crows – like the kind you see in primates.
I thought ravens and crows did to some grooming of each other, although I could be wrong about that. Maybe this one didn’t have any friends trained in first aid.
