POTD: Night Moves

Night Moves Bozeman, Montana 2012

I’ve been spending some time creating composite images again. (O.k. a lot of time–it’s very tedious work.) Some people may see this particular image as being spooky I suppose. I think of it as more mysterious than spooky. Or perhaps they are just heading out to scout routes for Santa Claus.

  1. Larry, this is GREAT!
I love the blue color and the light center suggestive of a full moon. I love that you “break” the left and right edges, implying that there are more crows “before and after” the ones we see. I’ve studied each crow and I don’t think you’ve repeated any wing pattern, which adds to the authenticity!
Really Well Done! I admire the work you are doing with these composites.

    1. Thanks Kathy. Nice to know someone’s looking at it closely enough to notice I went to the trouble of not repeating images in the composite. Look at tomorrow’s (today’s–the 23rd–as I write this) POTD and you will see that I didn’t repeat images of any of the 63 crows there either, although there are more than one pose of the same birds in some cases (see if you can find those).
