This guy is from a less exotic location (a bookend in my studio) than yesterday’s gargoyles. With his nose in a book, I hope he’s reading up on responsible voting rather than some dark spell–unless that spell is intended to influence the voting next week in a positive way, i.e., the way I’d like to see things turn out. But if that were the case, I guess at least from my point of view it wouldn’t be a dark spell at all.]]>

Have always loved these gargoyle bookends. Another photographer used it as his subject in a digital photography book. But I’ve only ever seen photos of them, not the real thing that I might be able to add to my collection! Nice lighting, btw….
Thanks Kathy. That lighting was just the available light coming in my studio window. With the light just right by accident and the bookends just sitting there along with my camera, it was an sinfully easy photo to obtain. Who said no pain, no gain?
