Thanks Betty. Yes, its a diversion for me. I wouldn’t want a steady diet of it I don’t think but it was kind of fun for a change. It reminded me a bit of photographing crows and ravens, another subject that won’t sit still or move on command.
Thanks Kathy. I was sitting on the ground right next to the fence when I took that shot. When the horses would walk just on the other side of the fence they didn’t know what to make of me hunched there with my big lens sticking through the fence. One tried to take a bite of my hat.
Classic western photo! The “big sky” shapes certainly add to it. I like this series. Kind of a diversion for you with people and action, isn’t it?
