My composite photo, Magritte’s Leftovers, just finished a year-long tour with the Montana Art Mobile along with the work of 25-30 other Montana artists. The Art Mobile “is an educational, art outreach program providing access to a high quality, original, and contemporary art exhibit with instruction by a professional artist for schools and diverse groups.” The artwork changes each year and now that this cycle is over, it’s time to sign up again.

Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only the Piano Player

For 40 years Jaye Christensen has been banging out hits from the 1850’s to the 1950’s on the piano in one of the old historic structures at Bannack State Park for the pleasure of visitors. While we were talking to her, she played a rousing version of the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
