When you’re mowing your lawn with an old push reel lawnmower, you need a handy chair near by to take needed breaks. My father had one of these way back when I was a young kid. Fortunately, when I got old enough to be asked to mow the lawn, he’d moved on to a power mower.

Note that this photo could have also been included in part of my Patriot’s Dream series, but the chair is what first caught my eye so I went with that.

POTD: How Do You Like Me Now?

I’m always amazed how some businesses seem hell bent on reducing their potential customer base by wearing their politics (of either party, but it’s usually Republicans) on their sleeves, or their hats, or their buildings, especially when it’s as prominent as this particular instance. But in towns like Powell which are very prominently Republican, I don’t guess they’re losing much potential income if a few folks decide to take their business elsewhere.
